Hi and welcome to CaliforniaClicks.info :-)
This question is not thaaaaat stupid... An impression is the same as "view". So if you buy 1,000 banner impressions, the banner will be shown 1,000 times and will be viewed 1,000 times.
It does not guarantee any clicks on the banner.
